History

Successfully in service for you since 1959

Our freight forwarding company, which was founded in 1959 by Johs. Chr. Boyens and is located in Weddelbrook, a town in Northern Germany, is now led by Peter Boyens and his daughter Swantje Boyens.

  • 1959

    Founding of the firm by Johs. Chr. Boyens in the city center.

  • 1971

    Retirement of the founder and transfer of leadership to his son Peter Boyens.

  • 1990

    Reconstruction and relocation to the Lentföhrdener Straße.

  • 1995

    Construction extension of the warehouse.

  • 1999

    Extension of the warehousing space, new construction of a truck washing unit and a workshop.

  • 2004

    Conversion into the Boyens Spedition GmbH & Co. KG and daughter Swantje Boyens enters the management.

  • 2006

    Reconstruction of a warehouse with a storage area of 5000 m2.

  • 2016

    Daniel Christ enters the management.

Operating site with an area of 45.000 m2

Our company grounds house our offices and multiple warehouses with a total area of 11.000 m2. In addition, 45 trucks as well as various swap bodies, trailers, semitrailers, and cars are located on the premises as well.

We also have a company-owned workshop, a truck washing unit, and a gas station at our disposal.

Our private workshop located on-site is attended by our experienced mechanics that service our entire fleet.

In our modern hangar there is space for four trucks. Not only our mechanics but also our workshop manager frequently receive training to be acquainted with the newest technologies.

Our mechanics are also available by telephone for emergencies even outside of the usual opening hours.

Truck washing unit & gas station

Company-owned truck washing unit

Our company-owned truck washing unit is not only equipped for trucks, cars, and busses but also for other kinds of vehicles, which is why usage is also offered to private individuals and other companies.

Take advantage of our gentle washing treatments and attractive pricing.

Opening hours of the washing unit:

  • Monday and Wednesday: closed
  • Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8 am to 14 pm
  • Saturday: 8 am to 17 pm every two weeks

Gas station

Because of our gas station, we can save valuable time and distance by not being dependable on an external gas station. The station has a capacity of 80.000 liters of diesel.
